Gallery of Immediate Tooth Implants

Case 1

Patient presented with toothache as the decay had extended into the nerve. Instead of root canal treatment, patient opted for implant to replace tooth. We did extraction, implant placement and bone graft on the same day. 4 months later, implant-crown was inserted placed.

Case 2

Patient had broken filling but unfortunately the decay was deep and tooth was slightly mobile. He preferred to have implant rather than root canal treatment. The tooth was extracted and implant as well as bone graft was done on the same day. Implant-crown was inserted 8 weeks after.

Case 3

Patient presented with toothache, suspecting the first lower molar. Upon examination, we found that the virgin tooth had fracture into half, unrestorable. On the same day of extraction, implant and bone graft was placed. Implant-crown was placed about 10 weeks later.

Case 4

Patient was experiencing on and off toothache on her front teeth. Upon examination, we noted a fractured canine (13), which was supporting a bridge replacing missing lateral incisor (12), and heavily worn front teeth (11-22). After exploring her options, patient decided to replace the 4 front teeth and 1 missing tooth (13-22) with 3 implants. We also recommended porcelain crown on the upper left canine (23) to achieve a better aesthetic result. 5 teeth were extracted and 3 implants were placed using surgical guide. A 5-unit temporary bridge was inserted on the same day. 3 months later, her final implant-bridge was placed.

Case 5

Patient was concerned about his mobile lower back teeth (35, 36, 45-47) due to periodontitis. Unfortunately, they were not responding to his periodontal treatment. He was hoping to have a more permanent solution – replacing them with implants. He had 2 implants placed on each side of the jaw, using a surgical guide. A 2-unit and 3-unit implant-bridges were inserted 10 weeks later.

Case 6

Patient presented with toothache on the heavily restored tooth. He opted to replace the tooth with implant instead of root canal treatment. Extraction, implant placement and bone graft was done on the same day. 3 months later, the implant-crown was inserted.

Case 7
